We'll soon be on our way to the BVIs

We had a wonderful few days home with friends and family, but now we are up in Hampton, VA scurrying to get Splendido ready for her 1500 mile passage on Sunday. I'll just write this up and eek out enough wifi to send it out.

All of the boats are equipped with transponders and you can track Splendido's position at the rally's website (Rally Class 1), http://www.carib1500.com/c1500/2007positions.htm. We've also set up this blog to receive automatic emails daily with our position and conditions; hopefully that will work out fine and not wreak havoc with blogger! We'll update you once we arrive in and settle in Tortola in mid-November.
